My UMBRIA
My special place in Italy is Umbria! I have a good knowledge and contacts all over Italy where I can take you if you want, but I think Umbria offers the perfect balanced life.
Why is it special?
Umbria represents peace and authenticity to me.
Peace because it is a region where nature prevails: the soothing colour of the olive trees and dramatic sunsets over the lake; the waving heads of sunflowers in the warm summer breeze; little hilltop villages and the birdsong echoing through the alleyways.
Authenticity because it is a place where the most important things in life matter: family, food, and fun! Just the perfect ingredients for a happy contented existence; the essence of Italian, and Umbrian, life.

It's for EVERYBODY

Here in Umbria where I am you are surrounded by a lush green landscape, rolling hills, lakes, majestic hilltop villages where time seems to stand still - yet you are only a two hour drive up from Rome and it’s just an hour to Florence. The capital, Perugia - a buzzing city which hosts many festivals, Umbria Jazz and Eurochocolate among them - is only a half hour drive; both Assisi and Siena are just over an hour away. You really are in the heart of the country!
Cultural events are held in the region throughout the summer, but there is also Winter Umbria Jazz, and the Blues festival, and there are plays and concerts in the historic theatres that seem to thrive in every town and village. Not to mention the various "feste" which happen throughout the year, celebrating the diverse range of specialities in the different locations of the region.
It's CONNECTED
The A1 motorway is accessible from almost anywhere in Umbria, it is the longest (754 km) and most important motorway in Italy, linking some of the largest cities of the country: Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples.

There is also easy access to the main Trenitalia train line that runs through the region to most of the country.
Not forgetting the airport in Perugia that is now connected to an ever expanding destination and airline network.
This is why basing yourself here is so important- it’s just so convenient.
Umbria is a different Italy, a place of unchallenged beauty, a place based on the little things of life, those that count the most: family; food; nature.
Perché no - why not!

Italy's Heart
Umbria is a region of central Italy located just east of Tuscany and west of the Marche. It approximately halfway between Rome and Florence. Basically in the Heart of Italy.
